Gloucester & Sharpness Canal, Navigation: Open, Towpath

Please be advised that a rowing event has been organised by Wycliffe College & Wycliffe Watermen on Saturday 7th December between 7.00am and 6.30pm.

The event takes place between Sandfield Bridge,9 and Parkend Bridge,14.

Mooring Restriction: Temporary landing stages will be erected between Sandfield Bridge and Saul Junction and beside the Wycliffe landing stage for embarking and disembarking of boats.

In these areas, narrow boats will need to be moved from Thursday 5th December (9am) until Sunday 8th December (12 noon).

The canal will remain open although there may be slight delays.

Please proceed with care and follow the guidance of the stewards/safety boats.
