CEMETERY ACCESS

As you are probably aware there has been discussion and debate over the access to the Cemetery through the new gates at Howmead. At a recent meeting of the Berkeley Burial Committee the residents of Howmead have offered a solution. They are prepared to open the gates every Monday at 9am and close them at 3pm. (Christmas Day excluded) This will commence on Monday August 1st. The Berkeley Burial Committee would like to thank the residents of Howmead for their support in this matter.

The main access to the cemetery is through the Station Rd pedestrian gate, but for those with additional needs access can be provided through the Howmead vehicular gate at the opposite end of the cemetery on request from the Clerk.
